Breaking News: Second-Hand Smoke Bad

Raise your hand if you didn't know second-hand smoke was bad for you. No one? Then why all the fuss from the big media outlets?

Here's the lead from the NY Times:
The evidence is now "indisputable" that secondhand smoke is an "alarming" public health hazard, responsible for tens of thousands of premature deaths among nonsmokers each year, Surgeon General Richard H. Carmona said yesterday.
What's going on here? Are things going so poorly for the Bush Administration they're throwing everything at the wall hoping something will stick?

Thier corporate media partners are certainly doing their part.

And don't give us grief about picking on the NY Times. For all the bitchin' and moaning from the Right about the Times, they are big business. They did their part in getting the American public to buy into an illegal and immoral war.

Remember?
